When is it necessary to Stop Work and call a Time-Out? What prevents us from calling a Time-Out?
There are various factors and countless situations where Time-Out can be used, such as when witnessing at risk behavior, when someone doesn’t understand or feel confident to proceed, or even if the job is not going well and a pause is needed for reassessment. If something seems wrong or uneasy, a Time-Out should be called. It’s common to have an intuitive feeling that something is off, even if it’s hard to explain. This gut feeling should be honored by calling a Time-Out.
